Dr. V. Ram Naresh Kumar earned a Ph.D. from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar in ICT in Agriculture and Rural Development.

Before joining FABS, he was associated with the Department of Dairy Business Management, College of Dairy Technology, P. V. Narasimha Rao Veterinary University as an Assistant Professor (Contract).

He also worked as a scientific officer in International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Hyderabad, and in other ICT for development projects to enhance rural livelihoods by providing relevant information through innovative technologies. His teaching interests are in Project Management, Research Methodology, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS) and ICT for Development.
