Food & Agri Business School Placement cell was created with the primary goal of ensuring career opportunities to FABS students in reputed companies in various sectors to meet their ambitions through a unique approach to equip the students not only in technical skills but also in “LIFE SKILLS” through an expert committee called “Global Academy of Life Skills Development” programme. The main objective of GOALS is to develop communication skills, attitudes, passion for excelling in life, etc. FABS regularly organizes Training programmes for Soft skills and Interview facing skills for the students through institutional and external expertise.
An integral part of the institute, Placement Cell proactively and continuously strives to match the talent with the right opportunities. Well experienced Placement officer and a group of professionals including the team of elected students constitute the placement cell. All these achievements and goals were possible due to generous support from the Management, mainly Secretary, Director and continuous nurturing and mentoring by the dedicated HODs, Faculty and Students.
FABS in its 8 years of successful journey had many reputed corporate companies from all over India visiting & recruiting students from various categories viz. Food & Agriculture, Food & Seed technology, etc.
We are proud to declare that in this current Academic year 2013 in campus placements, we had Radiant Solar, Coromandel International, AXIS Bank, Star Agri – Mumbai, eFresh Portal, Rentokill, Ankur Seeds, Creamline Dairy, etc. visiting our campus & successfully recruiting the students from various streams.
FABS firmly believes in the importance of practice in addition to the rigorous curriculum to make the learning experience truly rewarding. So, by design, there are many individual and team based projects embedded in the curriculum apart from the summer projects.
Current batch of students in their first year, are involved in assignments like “Green House Project” and “Earn while you Learn Project” These projects test the managerial and entrepreneurial capabilities that the students acquire through theory.
Eight weeks of real-time learning aimed at providing exposure to real-life situations through partnership with industry. It provides an excellent opportunity to the students to test their class room knowledge in the actual field context. They learn about an industry, hone their skills and build a relationship with a prospective employer.
The main purpose of Training & Placement Cell is to ensure that the students at FABS are provided with excellent support towards their personal & career development. The students are given special prominence on communication skills, employability skills, etc. to finally place them in diverse industries / Corporates / organizations through Campus recruitment drives.
